Clear your cache in Safari on iPad

Modified on Fri, 02 Sep 2022 at 03:52 PM

In the Safari app , you can erase your browsing history and data to clear the cache on your iPad. This removes the history of websites you visited and recent searches from your device. It also removes the cookies and permissions you granted to websites to use your location or send you notifications.

Note: Clearing your browsing history in Safari doesn’t clear any browsing histories kept independently by websites you visited.

Go to Settings  > Safari, then tap Clear History and Website Data.
